Dream on but don't imagine they will all come true. ~Billy Joel
I did my homework
Well with today being Good Friday I decided to use my time wisely and do the EP homework that I have to do over the Easter break so that is one less thing that I have to get done in like the next week......Im so busy with school work....it has been a crazy term with all the breaks and snow days. How come snow days aren't as much fun anymore really where did the days go that a snow day meant a day of freedom not a day of wishing that you were in school or at least that the building was open so that you could work in the studio. I digress.......Okay so the house that Im house sitting at got internet yesterday (yea) so I have acess to the wonderful thing called MSN just in time for all my friends to leave to go home for the easter break (booers). On a plus side Eva(house owner) is coming home on Sunday but has to go out of town in a week so I get to work right after the break (more money) instead of ending on Sunday. Just hope that she doesnt mind that I can not be back in S'ville for the 3 as I have to take mom to dialysis and dad is out of town and doesnt get back till that night.....I guess from this you can tell that Im coming home for easter well not all of it but most of it.I have to be in Grand Falls for Monday night as the show is Tuesday.....lets hope I have cue numbers by then.......and then instead of staying for the rest of the festival, which I would like to do, Im leaving to come in Wendesday on the bus. I wont have my car(mom and dad for some reason dont want me to drive) but I will have the use of my nans car not 24/7 while Im there but Im sure I can get it for a night to go out with you gals. See you all soon and have a good easter and Lis save some Mr, Munchy for me ;) Hip Hop Im off with a shake of my cotton ball tailKrista~Bert
This cant be right......
The Watcher 60 Bites of Slayage |
| You might not have what it takes to do the proper slaying, but you know everything there is to know about being the brains behind the Slayer. Like Giles or Westley, you are willing to consult an endless amount of books for the cause and train with the Slayer until she can take on the ultimate evil, but put yourself in the front line? That is NOT in your job description. |

Whats a cue number?
Well last night we had a showing of our festival piece Wrong for Each Other and lets just say that the dirctor should be very happy that I was on the board at least for lighting as I didnt have any cue numbers to speak of. I went on go or on my own.I had the levels all set and the faders set as groups to make cross fades (bringing up lights and takeing others down) but the dirctor didnt want cross fades they wanted a brown out between scenes. Lets hope that it goes better in Grand Falls.

What Is Your Seduction Style?
Ow I hurt :(
First things first the trip to CB was awesome I cant wait to go to Grendfell in the fall. We toured the Arts and Culture Center there and I got a book with all the colours of light gels in it, this will come in handy as I am light designer for Bay Theater's drama festival piece. Then we went to the music store basically this is our toy store and then we were off to the CD store. I broke down and brought Dave Matthews Band Busted Stuff awesome CD by the way. Then we stayed to see a play at Grenfell it was called Fear of Flight by. Jill Kiley and Robert Chafe. It was a great play.....Megs I wish you could have seen it. It was very tech heavy with the lights and sound but the students did an awesome job. Again cant wait to go there. Also it was great I got to see Jill, Robert, Mike and Jenn from Artistic Fraud 24 Hour Play.
I must be nuts as yesterday and today I put myself on a sheet on ice with rocks and brooms, thats right I went curling. It was a blast my team played for games and we tied 2 won 1 and loss 1 not to shabby for a team of three, two of which curled last year in the CONA speil. I did fall once but over all I was pretty steady on the ice. My shots were for the most part good. I can tell you that it way harder then it looks. Trying to get the right weight on the rock is the hardest part. Every time I throw the rock I would feel like I was pushing off the hack but I would never go anywhere. Oh well I had a blast and I think that if I ever get the time I might join a league.
A little sore......

Grenfell here I come (hopefully......)
Okay I know that I am like Megs changing my mind when it comes to what I want to do with my life but here is the new thing and this is what I love. I am in the process of applying to Grenfell in Conner Brook to get my Balchor of Fine Arts in Theatre majoring in Stagecraft. This is a four year course in which I learn more about lighting, sound (for theatre), building stages. The cool thing is that in my fourth year first semister I have to go to Harrlow it is manditory trip. I hope I get in as this means another four years in this province and also closer to mom. Also I have passed in my form on why I want to go to BC and no word yet but should know something by the end of the week. So keep fingers crossed that I get into Grenfell keep you posted.Same bat time.....Same bat channelKrista
