The count down has begun...

Well just to let you know I am headed back across this great island to the final desation of Pouch Cove on April 17. Mark the calender on that day.
On the job hunting scene I am waiting to hear back from Holland America on a youth position, I know that I did not get the sound tech position but I am hoping that I may get a youth one...Meg have you appiled or heard back from them. Also dad knows someone in my field and is getting in touch with them to see if they need a summer person. Fingers crossed.
One the school beat not much has changed....just the normal end of term happenings. Tech weekend is this weekend and then the show opens on Wendsday the 28 so I have no free time after Friday. Such is the life of a stagecraft student.
About the random pictures I posted this morning....I cleaned the pictures off my camera I know about time...and thought I would post a few. Hope you enjoy.
Think that is about it for now...I will post again after the show....

Love and miss you all

7 kids...1 movie....and I got to watch tv by myself....

Well not much has been going on this week on the west side. School has gotten back to the routine after show week. The show went well but I am glad that it is over, as much as I love plays and my work by the end of rehseal period and opening night I am sick of the show and can say it in my sleep. Hopefully this semester Krista is happy with my production and I get better the a 63. It is kinda sucky through, the actors in 2nd and 3rd year are done with production for the year but us stage craft students still have it. For the 4th year show I am in wardrobe, not my cup of tea....I like looking at beautful costumes and fabric but not a fan of the consturtion of them. But I am enjoying it and learning a lot so that is what matters.
The 4th year show should be good but another long one by the looks of it...not as long as Nic Nic but I think that it will hit the 3 hour mark again. Oh dear.
Last night I was baby-sitting for Dr. Stone and friends at Humber Valley. 7 kids 2-8. They were no trouble as I let them watch a movie and they all baiscally fell asleep watching it...so cute. The chalets there are beautful...this one was 5 bedrooms with a bath for each and 2 other baths besides....I would love to get us all together and rent one but that will not be for a while as they are pricey...but among the group it would not be too bad.
Oh I filled out an appilcation for two jobs with Holland America one for sound tech...didnt get it and also youth staff still waiting to hear.
Meg havent had trouble with gmail so I dont know.
I think thats it for now

Love and miss you all

This one is for you Lis....hehe

Hello world....
Yes I am finaly posting...sorry it has been so long but with production everynight combined with tech weekend and show week I have been busy since I have come back from the break.
The 2nd and 3rd year show closed on Saturday night, the show called Why Love was made up of different scenes from plays by a playwright by the name of Brecht. The show was good but long 3 and 1/2 hours long....I was ASM along with Komal for the show. It was a lot of work but also a lot of fun.
Tech weekend was the weekend after the break....didnt do a lot that weekend expect spend 13 and 1/2 hour days in the threatre. I am happy to say though that for the most part the actors here understand how much work we as techs have to do.
School wise the rest of my classes are going well....not a fan of the Jacobean drama but I am getting thru it.
This week I am baby-sitting for Dr. Stone and his wife Donna, I cant wait. I should make a nice chunk of change as I am sitting for them and their friends (7 kids) but I can handle it.
I guess the big thing that I have to say is that I finally brought myself an iPod....I now have a shiny 30 gig iPod. I love it....but I havent told mom yet that I brought it. I am now in the process of putting my cd's on my computer.
Anyways I think thats it for now

Love and miss you all
