Good morning all viewers and welcome to the news from the west coast today March 20 2006...
Okay I know that I havent posted in awhile but it has been crazy out here. Trying to finish up school work is like taking two steps back for every step forward. I cant believe that the semester is almost done. So far the only thing that I have yet to like in Stagecraft has been drafting. I would much rather have the plans handed to me then draw them.
On Off-Broadway side of things we are kicking into high gear as we have about 5 weeks left before show day. Also I cant believe that I didnt post this but I was made Stage Manger for the show. eek. So that adds to the work load but I love it.
On the personal side of things the high school drama of 3rd west is getting to me....did I not leave high school 5 years ago?
Plus the music has gotten better....not the songs themselves but the volume.
But on the downside I have been wanting to talk to Josh alot....Lis we so need to go for coffee when you get back from Cuba. I need to talk about this and Megs recomended you.
To those who will be traveling before I get home...have a fun and safe trip.

I am slowly going deaf and its not good music

Okay I have been busy with school trying to get papers out of the way so that I can be free when 1949 gets ready to hit the stage. Show day for us is April 18. Good for one thing that I have exams done the day before, but that means that I can not come home till after the festival. So the date that I will be home is April 23 well that is the day that I am driving home.
Some mixed feelings about that I am happy that I am coming home but it has too many memories for me right now. Part of me wants to pack up and move away from here.
Anyways back to the title...my wall mate is blasting the music yet again.....4 times yesterday Kiss the Rain played. I just suffered through Kayne West and Gold Digger and of course we have not heard anything like that before....Im sorry Ray Charles did not live. Oh well he got what he deserved when he didnt win the "Gimmy" Grammy.
Its so much fun living here where I am listening to crappy music and can not listen to my own unless I have headphones on and even then hers overpowers mine. It is pretty bad when my wall is vibrating at its natural frequency. Grrr
Oh well such is life....thats it for now
